Eric Scaringe is a senior manager in KPMG’s Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice. Eric has more than 13 years of experience in domestic and international tax of both public and privately held clients. He advises GMS clients across industries on business traveler issues, and works on implementing policies and processes for Business Traveler Programs and employment tax matters.
Prior to KPMG, Eric worked for a large U.S. based multinational company where he:
— Managed a project to track 330,000+ employees international work related travel and identify nonresident personal tax obligations by applying income tax treaties, totalization agreements and domestic laws globally.
— Implemented a global policy and processes to satisfy employer and employee personal tax obligations related to Business Travelers in 80+ countries through shadow payroll and income tax filings.
