Managing Director, Tax, Global Reward Services
Eric Schecter has more than 13 years of experience advising on executive compensation and employee benefits matters in connection with corporate transactions, and on the negotiation, design, and implementation of compensation arrangements and related governance, compliance, and disclosure issues.
Prior to joining KPMG’s Global Reward Services practice in 2015, Eric was a senior associate in the New York office of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. During that time, Eric advised publicly traded and privately held companies, as well as their boards of directors and compensation committees, on matters involving executive compensation and employee benefits, and provided executive compensation and employee benefits advice for private equity transactions, strategic mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, reorganizations, financing transactions, initial public offerings, and ongoing company operations, as well as related governance, compliance, and disclosure issues. In addition, Eric has extensive experience in the negotiation, design, and implementation of executive employment and separation arrangements, equity and cash incentive plans, deferred compensation plans, and other compensation arrangements.
Eric has a BA degree from Brandeis University and a JD degree from The The George Washington University Law School.
