Anand Shah

Anand has spent over 20 years in the consulting industry and currently serves as KPMG's US Banking Technology Lead Partner. He also supports driving KPMG's Digital and Advanced Analytics business within Banking. Formerly, he was a Partner in Accenture's Financial Services Banking Practice. 

Anand has had engagement/client responsibility for several clients over the years and was also previously Accenture's Commercial Banking/Credit NA practice leader. While in this role, Anand also focused on the how digital (STP, mobile solutions, analytics, etc) will continue to transform Banks strategies going forward and how to actually implement it. Critical to his role, Anand also focused on driving multiple Banking software alliance partnerships.

Throughout his career, Anand has focused on leading several large scale process and technology implementations partnering with C level executives on key strategic initiatives ranging from mergers and acquisitions to process re-engineering efforts to systems delivery.

For the first part of his career he focused on design and development of technology application architecture and system solutions across various platforms (web, client/server, SOA, EAI, mainframe, etc) and technologies with various clients in the products industry.

Over the last 16 years, he has focused working on several strategic imperatives in the Financial Services industry working at various clients in Capital Markets and over a dozen Banking clients in the space of Retail and Commercial Banking (focus on CRM, M&A, Core Bank Replacement, and Lending process and systems transformation)

Anand is a business expert in Core Banking and more specifically in the Lending (Commercial and Consumer) and Credit Risk areas. In addition to working on a dozen strategic initiatives in the lending area (target operating models), he has also been involved with several (6+) custom and packaged Origination to Servicing Platform deliveries end to end.
