Jinesh is a Partner with KPMG India M&A Tax practice . He has more than 16 years’ experience in the profession with focus on Income-tax, Corporate Laws, Securities Law, Exchange Management Law, Stamp Duty Laws and Transaction Advisory Services such as Acquisition Structuring, Mergers, Outbound Investments, investments/divestments routes, etc. He has experience in advising and executing assignments on corporate restructuring, internal business re-organizations, balance sheet right-sizing, buy-back of securities across industry segments covering Media, Telecommunications, Infrastructure, Minerals and Mines. He has extensive experience on buy-side and sell-side assisting clients in evaluating the risks and opportunities of their intended transactions. He has led a number of high profile and complex transactions and thus has a deep understanding and practical experience of dealing with issues that arise on Indian transactions.
