Sandeep Sharma

Sandeep is a Managing Director in the International Indirect Tax Services practice with over 22 years of experience. Prior to joining KPMG in the US, Sandeep worked in the UK advising on a multitude of International Indirect Tax issues for LATAM, EMEA and ASPAC. He leads the Global VAT Practice in Washington DC, Maryland, Virginia and Detroit. He has extensive experience in International Indirect Taxes and has in depth knowledge of the VAT regimes in EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific.

Sandeep has a wealth of experience dealing with global projects in both practice and industry, which enables him to bring a well-balanced approach when assisting clients with their Indirect Tax consultancy and compliance needs. Sandeep has also helped clients in a broad range of industries including Aerospace & Defense, Consumer & Retail, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Technology, Media & Telecommunications, Industrial Manufacturing, Finance, Insurance and Real Estate with all aspects of Indirect Tax including supply chain planning, tax authority audit strategies and disputes, process and controls, M&A, assisting with the set-up of ERP systems and tax engines, tax saving strategies and compliance in the EMEA, LATAM and Asia markets.
