Since his graduation from Leiden University in 1988 Eduard has gained over 30 years experience on tax/transfer pricing matters. He is a member of the Dutch Association of Tax Advisors and of the International Fiscal Association. He also followed a post graduate tax course on US taxation offered by Leiden University.
Eduard has written numerous articles in several journals, such as:
European Taxation; European Union Focus; Tax Planning International Review; Tax Planning International Transfer Pricing; the International Transfer Pricing Journal; Tax Management Transfer Pricing Report; International Tax Review and various Dutch newspapers.
Eduard is mentioned in the "Guide to the World's Leading Transfer Pricing Advisers" from 1999 onwards, as one of the leading Dutch transfer pricing specialists. He arranged for the successful completion of numerous Dutch unilateral ruling and bi-lateral Advance Pricing Agreement ("APA") requests.
Eduard successfully completed many APAs.
He also has a vast experience on the application of the EU Arbitration Convention/Directive.
Eduard Sporken has experience in many industry sectors.
Eduard has assisted many multinational clients (including US, Japanese, UK and German) with Global, European and Dutch transfer pricing projects, including a number of successful defence cases in connection with tax audits. Such projects also cover IP, shared services, commissionaire, central purchasing and cash pooling engagements.
