Christine St. Hilaire
Audit Managing Director
Christine is an Audit Managing Director in KPMG’s Boston office. She has over thirteen years of experience providing audit and attestation services to public and private asset management clients.
Christine has a wide breadth of knowledge and experience providing audit services to investment advisors and investment companies, including registered mutual funds, collective investment funds, hedge funds, private equity funds and venture capital funds. She also has experience working with not-for-profit institutions with significant endowment portfolios and a public pension fund. She has a thorough understanding of US GAAP as it applies to investment advisers and investment companies, including critical topics such as fair value, revenue recognition, consolidation, and financial reporting.
Christine has experience working with clients on a range of regulation changes including Investment Company Reporting Modernization, Money market reform, and Amendments to the consolidation analysis. She has experience coordinating global audit services for a multi-national client. She is leading her teams’ efforts to innovate audit procedures to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness. She collaborates with colleagues through the Boston office’s Innovation Council to identify opportunities to improve audit quality and client service.
Christine represents KPMG on the Massachusetts Society of CPAs Regulated Investment Company Committee. She also served as a reviewer in the firm’s quality peer review program.
