Philippe advises U.S. and multinational corporations on various global indirect tax including planning, supply chain restructuring, reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, tax engine implementations, etc. Philippe has provided indirect tax consulting and compliance services for clients in a broad range of industries including automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, IT, telecommunications, retail, finance, insurance and property development.
Specific examples of his experience include:
- Reviewed toll manufacturing supply chains to mitigate VAT/GST leakage and compliance costs.
- Assisted with the global indirect tax implementation of a tax engine for a large IT services company.
- Assisted on the consumption tax work-stream for the Puerto Rico tax reform project.
Philippe further develops indirect tax training for KPMG's SALT practice, tracks global indirect tax administrative and legislative developments, and is a main contributor to KPMG's global indirect tax newsletter Inside Indirect Tax.
