Tim is a partner in KPMG’s Philadelphia office and is the Special Envoy for KPMG ESG, supporting the delivery of ESG services. Tim works with ESG leadership to support the coordination and connection of activities across advisory, tax, and audit, aligning KPMG’s holistic tax offerings with the broader ESG solutions and capabilities landscape.  He also bolsters and supports development of the ESG Americas hub, serving as the Head of Americas ESG, and the US member firm connectivity to KPMG Global ESG. 

Prior to his role as Special Envoy, Tim was the Chief Executive Officer of KPMG Spark responsible for all aspects of the business including, among others, strategy, business development, finance, sales, customer service, service delivery, human resources, platform enhancements, SEO, SEM, and other operational business needs. Prior to assuming his role at Spark, Tim was Global Chair of KPMG’s International Development Assistance Services (IDAS) practice and had responsibility for the global delivery of KPMG’s services to organizations operating in the development sector. In addition to his IDAS responsibilities, he also served as the National Practice Leader of KPMG’s Development and Exempt Organizations practice, was a member of KPMG International’s Governmental steering committee, was both the Head of Global Public Sector Tax and the U.S. National Tax Industry Leader for Public Sector Tax, and served as the Global Executive Partner for the United Nations and World Bank. Tim also was instrumental in founding KPMG’s Global Grants Practice in 1999 as well as KPMG’s national EXOTAX practice in 1995. He has served in the exempt division of the firm’s Washington National Tax practice.

Tim has more than 35 years experience providing services to a variety of organizations in every sector. His clients have included family offices, private foundations, social service organizations, institutions of higher education, hospitals, governmental entities, museums, bi- and multi-lateral organizations and corporations; those in retail, banking, manufacturing, transportation, technology and other sectors; and entities with local, national, and multi-national operations.

Tim was the co-author of the KPMG Global Impact Strategy, was a founding member of the KPMG US diversity advisory board, and serves on the boards of several not for profit organizations.
