Prita Subramanian, PhD, is a principal with the Economic & Valuation Services group of KPMG’s Washington National Tax practice. As a senior transfer pricing economist. Prita has worked on a variety of transfer pricing projects, including advance pricing agreements, litigation support, audits, planning, and documentation studies. She currently works on supporting client engagements and on developing training and technical guidance for KPMG.

Prita has prepared transfer pricing compliance and planning studies for clients in different industries covering various types of transactions, including tangible goods transfers, intangible goods transfers, related-party loans and services transactions. She has also served as a national technical resource for FAS 123R/ASC 718 stock-based compensation valuation. In addition, Prita has contributed to KPMG’s comment letters to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development on its discussion drafts on intangibles.

Prita is a member of the National Association for Business Economics.. She earned her PhD degree in economics from Princeton University and MA and BA degrees in economics from University of Delhi.
