William Tomazin

Bill Tomazin serves as national managing partner, Audit Operations and Execution for KPMG LLP. Together with the Vice Chair of Audit, he leads a team of more than 900 audit partners and 7,000 audit professionals and is responsible for deploying the Audit practice’s operational and transformation strategies to meet the firm’s quality and growth objectives and drive excellence.

Bill is a leader with more than 35 years of experience delivering audit services. He previously led the transformation of KPMG’s Audit practice, including the deployment of its data and analytic capabilities, as well as centralized services and centers of excellence.

He served as West Region managing partner, responsible for audit operations for that area, including clients, people and core operations. He has also served as global lead partner on several multi-national public and private companies in the business services, financial services (insurance and alternative investments), real estate, construction, hospitality, technology, media and telecom sectors.

Prior to this role, Bill served as Managing Partner of National Audit Solutions, leading the firm’s efforts to transform its service delivery model through the development of a robust shared service strategy and by expanding the use of data and enabling technologies on the audit. This role was critical to transforming the audit business model into a data rich, smart audit platform.
