Industries

Helping clients meet their business challenges begins with an in-depth understanding of the industries in which they work. That’s why KPMG LLP established its industry-driven structure. In fact, KPMG LLP was the first of the Big Four firms to organize itself along the same industry lines as clients.

Previously, between 2012 and 2015, Dennis was on secondment to KPMG’s Houston office where he launched the firm’s Cyber Maturity Assessment (CMA) service offering nationally. During his tenure in Houston Dennis worked closely with various Boards and Audit Committees as they increasingly started to treat Cyber as a business risk. After an internship in Silicon Valley with a smartcard manufacturer, his thesis focused on Digital Trust and the role of cryptography. As Dennis gradually started to focus on Cyber innovation management, in 2016 he participated in Harvard Business School’s “Disruptive Strategy” class based on Clayton Christensen’s pioneering book “The Innovator’s Dilemma”.
