I have a diverse background as a business consultant and corporate manager within several industries, subject areas and countries. My primary focus during my career has been on supply chain automation, with a special emphasis on global imports and exports.
In this area, I have managed trade compliance for a US multinational, helped start and lead the first managed-services organization for global trade, and assisted more than a hundred companies in improving their global trade processes.
With KPMG's acquisition of EntryPoint's Global Trade Services (GTS) team, I am now responsible for introducing KPMG's trade technology services to new clients, expanding into new business areas and strategic partnerships, continuously improving and differentiating the methods and tools used by our consultants on client engagements, contributing to my employees’ growth and deepening the subject matter expertise of KPMG's Trade & Customs practice.
As a Global Trade Technology consultant, I continue to have opportunities to apply my extensive technical, process and trade experience on KPMG engagements. My involvement is often targeted at helping companies to build out their trade automation business cases, to design innovative and effective trade automation solutions and to visualize and define their long-term roadmap for trade compliance improvement.
My industy experience has been predominately focused on Aerospace & Defense, Life Sciences and Hi-Tech and Industrial Manufacturing, with a subject-matter specialization in US and EU trade and regulatory controls, the touchpoints between trade and supply chain operations, military and encryption product movements and the intelligent application of denied party screening.
