As a Principal in KPMG’s Valuation & Business Modeling Services practice, James has performed hundreds of financial reporting valuations and reviewed over one thousand valuations performed on behalf of KPMG audit clients. He has over twenty years of experience in valuing businesses, intangible assets, and liabilities to assist companies in meeting their financial reporting requirements under ASC 805: Business Combinations, ASC 350: Intangibles - Goodwill and Other, ASC 360: Property, Plant and Equipment, and ASC 718: Compensation – Stock Compensation, among other accounting standards.
Based in Atlanta, James currently leads the Valuation Services Technical Transformation team, where he directs many of the key initiatives of the US valuation practice. He is also a member of KPMG’s Global Valuation Leadership team and serves as the Americas Head of Valuations.
