Jon Weil
Senior Manager, Tax
Jon is a senior manager in the Economic & Valuation Services group specializing in the valuation of complex financial instruments. Jon assists with the valuation of businesses, privately held equity and debt securities, and complex financial instruments for financial reporting, tax, and strategic business planning purposes. He is the national technical lead for the estimation of incremental borrowing rates.
Jon leads a key modeling initiative for the KPMG National Complex Securities practice and provides services to the New York asset management community through KPMG’s New York Alternative Investments practice.
Jon holds a Chartered Financial Analyst professional designation and is a member of the New York Association of Stock Analysts. He also holds a BA degree in history from North Texas State University and an MS degree in neurophysiology and an MS degree in mathematics from the University of North Texas.
