Vice Chair - Operations

Will Williams is Vice Chair – Operations at KPMG LLP and has oversight of the firm’s key operational areas, including technology, finance, investments, and enterprise security – leading a team of over 3,500 partners and professionals. Will is a member of the KPMG U.S. Management Committee, and he also serves as Chief Operating Officer for KPMG’s Americas region, helping KPMG’s international network of member firms effectively deliver services to clients in North, Central and South America.

In his role as Vice Chair of Operations for KPMG’s U.S. firm, his leadership in the technology space includes digital transformation, data strategy and technology operations. His financial responsibilities encompass forecasting, planning and monitoring the execution of the firm’s performance. In addition, he oversees strategic investments, real estate, security, office operations and KPMG Lakehouse, the firm’s state-of-the-art learning, innovation and development facility in Lake Nona, Florida.

Will is known for his strong commitment to the principles of servant leadership. He is an active ally and advocate for equity and equality and is recognized as a leader who is passionate about driving tangible change in support of diversity, equity and inclusion.

Prior to his current role, Will served as the National Managing Partner for KPMG’s Tax practice, where he led a $2.5+ billion business and a team of nearly 9,000 partners and professionals. During his 25-year career, he has had extensive experience transforming and growing many service lines within KPMG as well as leading multi-disciplinary Fortune 500 client teams across the U.S. and globally.

Will’s business areas of focus and passion include innovation, strategy, talent development, and more.

Currently, Will serves as a Board Member for the United Way of Greater Atlanta.

Will holds an International M.B.A. from the University of South Carolina, with a concentration in international finance. He earned his B.A. degree in business administration from Furman University, graduating with honors.
