Angela is National and ASPAC Regional Leader in KPMG Law’s Australian Tax Controversy practice with over 20 years’ experience of tax litigation and dispute resolution. She focusses on proactive, efficient and early resolution of disputes, and has acted for multinational corporate, private groups and high net wealth taxpayers from a wide variety of sectors, including infrastructure, commodities, technology, entertainment, energy, retail and automotive, achieving successful outcomes at risk review, audit, objection and litigation stages. Angela brings insights gained from her extensive experience acting for the Australian Tax Office (ATO) in relation to its most significant and complex tax litigation and audits, and from her management of large audits in relation to the application of Part IVA to restructures, transfer pricing, international tax issues including the Multinational Anti-Avoidance Law, cross-border funding and the tax implications of stapled securities.
