Brad is a managing director in KPMG LLP Deal Advisory & Strategy practice, with a focus on providing technical accounting and financial reporting guidance to clients contemplating strategic acquisitions, mergers, divestitures, spin-offs, and reorganizations – both in-court and out-of-court.
Brad frequently guides clients through transformative projects to integrate and report significant acquisitions, navigate SEC reporting requirements related to transactions, produce carve-out financial statements, and effectively reorganize in Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Brad regularly advises on implementation of purchase accounting (ASC 805, Business Combinations) and closely-related fresh-start accounting (ASC 852, Reorganizations), and he has also assists with the accounting application of external valuations, reconciliation of purchase consideration, post-close integration, and assessment of accounting systems and consolidation impact.
