Managing Director, State & Local Tax

Robert T. Maida is a managing director in KPMG’s State and Local Tax practice in the Pittsburgh office. He has over 20 years’ experience in helping clients of public and non-public companies ranging in industries from manufacturing to retail to service companies with various State and Local Tax services. He has extensive experience working on income tax, sales and use taxes, mergers and acquisitions, and credits and incentives projects.  Bob currently runs KPMG’s national Work Opportunity Tax Credit program and State Tax Credit Services group nationally.

In addition to his role as managing director, Bob is a member of the firm’s national Global Location and Expansion Services (GLES) group. He has spoken at various local and national Institute for Professionals in Tax seminars and Tax Executive Institute seminars, generally regarding Credits and Incentives issues. Bob also volunteers his time with the St. Anthony’s School Program for Exceptional Children in various capacities, including serving on the Golf Committee for their largest fund raiser each year.

Bob earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
