I have led several of the KPMG’s initiatives around Data Management and Analytics Strategy/Implementation within Financial Services and Payments industries, where I was responsible for all aspects of process design/redesign, build and delivery of end to end Business analytics and data management solutions/capabilities.

I bring a diverse set of business and technical skills honed over 14 years of experience in helping clients successfully design and implement enterprise wide Information Management & Business Intelligence initiatives with a deep focus in Data and Analytics. I have been hands on with process design/assessment and architecture of BI platforms, Data Management capability assessments and implementation, BI requirements analysis & documentation, project planning, dashboard & report development, program/project management and resource management.

Three recent engagements

  • Global Payments Provider– Led the solution architecture and delivery of data & functional requirements for the integration of a Payment processing subsidiary into its existing Finance & Accounting platform powered by SAP HANA. Barry was instrumental in providing thought leadership and innovation throughout the engagement that enabled the client to successful complete the integration and set the standards for future integration initiatives along their finance transformation journey.
  • National Insurance Provider– Led the business, functional & technical data requirements for a large multi line insurer’s program to replace their policy admin system and drive their Analytics transformation. Barry was part of the enterprise data management group at the client and led the Information Analytics stream, involved in developing their analytics strategy, requirements methodology, solution design and UAT testing for the Information Analytics Transformation program.
  • Global Insurance Provider (Multiple)– Led the solution architecture and BI delivery for one of a large insurance company’s initiative to migrate their existing actuarial valuation system across several countries. The program was an enterprise wide initiative and Barry played a key role from inception through cutover
